Movement in replica watches – FAQ – Help you to buy

We have a lot of customers asked us, what movement do you put in your Rolex Watches? What is Mingzhu movement?  What is Swiss movement? What’s the different between Mingzhu, Clone ETA and Swiss ETA? Do you have ETA2813 movement? What is 9015 movement etc.  Or what is 8500 movement?  I realized that we used to only have Mingzhu, Clone ETA, Swiss ETA and 7750 automatic movements. But suddenly  came up with a lot of new name for the movements recent years.

You are not the only one that confused, but we are also a little confused. We found some comparison between the various types of movements in reps and it’s something that buyer would find useful.  It might not totally correct,  We will update and correct the post with any useful info and correction that you guys come up with.

1. Mingzhu Automatic movement – Some other sites call it ETA2813 /DG2813 to sounds better. Actually they are the same movements. 21 Jewel. This is a generic term used to cover a wide variety of cheap Chinese movements – some are better than others, but as a general rule they are low-beat (21,600vph / 6 ‘ticks’ per second) movements, Low cost but generally reliable and easy to live with. Usually automatic, but occasionally hand wind, dependent on the watch.  A lot of really nice budget watches come with these fitted. Price range around $90.00 – $250.00

Most of our standard quality Rolex Datejust, Day-date, Submariner watches come with Mingzhu Automatic Movement. For example,

2. Asian ‘clone’ ETA: These are literally copies/clones of the equivalent Swiss (ETA) movements. Generally very high quality, very reliable , reasonable price and with parts interchangeable with the Swiss equivalent. High beat (28,800) and great value. Probably the best choice of movement for higher-quality reps as they give the smooth sweep found in most gen watches. If you do not want to spend too much money for a Swiss one, go with Asian ETA. Price range around $300-$460.00. For example.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust II Asian Swiss Automatic Movement SS Watch
Exact copy
$359.95
New 2016 Swiss Replica Tudor PELAGOS SS Black Watch 1-1
The Newest Version
$459.95

3. Swiss ETA 2836 (and variants): Originally made in Switzerland genuine ETA (owned by swatch group) Swiss automatic movements. Rolex put Swiss ETA2836 in their Tudor watches. 28800bph, Proven and reliable movement.  Beware that they are very hard to tell from the clone version, and not many dealers can be relied upon to supply the gen ETA vs. the clone (We are the ones that tells you either it is Clone ETA or Real Swiss ETA). As a general rule, you will tend to receive either the Asian clone version. When you order from us, If we say real Swiss ETA it is REAL. You can take the watch to any jeweler to verify the movement. Price Range $500.00 – $900.00

$569.00
New Upgraded Version - Swiss Rolex Deepsea D-Blue 44mm 1:1 Swiss ETA2836 Movement
New Upgraded Watch Case – More Accurate to original
$659.00

4. Rolex 3135 copy. This is a clone ETA automatic movement with modified rotor and bridges. It’s not going to convince anybody who knows their Rolex movements and tends to be less reliable than the alternatives (as well as being more expensive!). Not recommend.

ROLEX DATEJUST SWISS ETA3135 WATCH SS BLACK ROMAN
$589.95

5.Miyota 9015. With the disappearance of gen ETA movements, Very Thin movement. some reps are now coming with Japanese Miyota-sourced movements. The 9015 is a case in point – a high-beat 28,800vph 25 jewel movement that is an excellent alternative to ETA or clone ETA models mentioned above. Highly reliable and very good quality.  Don’t hesitate. Omega 8500, Audemars Piguet 3120, They are all Miyota 9015 automatic movement with modified rotor and bridges.  For example:

Swiss 9015 Patek Philippe White Face Rose Gold Watch
$369.95
1s1s1s1s1s
 Omega 8500 Automatic look like

Chrono movements:

1, Japan OS chrono: Basically a cheap quartz chrono movement, i.e. powered by a battery. Reliable, great timekeeper, cheap. If you can live with a ticking chrono hand (and seconds subdial) rather than the smooth sweep provided by autos. Actually there are a lot of replica watches that are quartz but with smooth sweeping second hand. They are called Japan VK quartz movement.  Cost a little more than the tick quartz. But more accurate to original. There’s no reason not to buy one of these.

Most of the replica Rolex Daytona, replica Audemars Piguet, Panerai Quartz Chronograph watches have smooth sweeping second hands. Those are the some samples of the quartz with smooth sweeping second hand. For example:

Rolex Rainbow Daytona Watch SS Diamonds on lugs - AAA Super Quality
Diamond on Lugs
$189.95

2, Asian Valjoux 7750: The standard automatic chrono movement used in a vast range of replica Chronograph watches. It is a clone of the real Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.  Smooth sweeping second hand, working Chronograph & stop watch function.  Available in second hand operate at 6 o’clock or 9 o’clock.  For example:

Replica Rolex 7750 Daytona watch SS White Dial Black Ceramic Bezel
$429.00
3, Swiss Valjoux 7750:  Used only in real watches, Not available to the rep makers because ETA quit supplying ebauches to makers outside Swatch Group.  Real Valjoux 7750 watch will be at least $1000.00 or more.  So far, haven’t found any replica that has Swiss Valjoux 7750.
That’s all for now, we will add more to our blog in the future.

How to adjust Rolex bracelet?

anyreplicawatch.com shows you How to remove extra links for Rolex watch? All the Rolex Watches we sell they have screws between links, instead of pins.

For the screw links, you need to use screw driver to unscrew two pins on any two consecutive links found on either side of your clasp, remove the link once it is completely detached from your bracelet. Slide all the remaining links together to align their pin holes. You should come up with one extra link and an extra pin. Save both in a safe place in case you need them in the future.

Some other watches have pins instead of screws, bellow is the instruction how to adjust watchband with pins.

Watch Instructions

We have many customers ask us those questions when they received their replica watches.  Now you do not need to ask anyone, you can solve these problems by yourself. Watch instructions and tips.

Q1. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING I NEED TO DO UPON RECEIVING THE WATCH?

A1. Upon receiving the watch, First, Please use the screwdriver to tight all the screws on your watch band.

Q2. MY WATCH IS AUTOMATIC, WHY MY WATCH IS NOT WORKING WHEN I RECEIVE IT?

A2. If it is an automatic watch, then please wind it. It is likely that the watch runs out of energy during the journey. Wind the watch by turning the crown for about 30 – 40 full turns clockwise. If you know your watch is battery, there is no need to wind it. If your watch has a screw-tight crown, release it by turning it anti-clockwise until it is loose. Then you can wind it for 30 – 40 times clockwise as mentioned. Once it is done, Turn the crown clockwise and screw it tight back at the same time. By doing a manual winding of the watch, your watch will have 24-36 hours power reserve. The best way is wind the watch every night before you go to bed.  So it will keep time all the time.

Q3. HOW DO I SET THE TIME?

A3. To set time, you need to unscrew crown anti-clockwise direction if you have a screw-in crown watch. You need to softly and slowly pull the crown out a little bit. The best way to do this is to use first and second finger and use finger knuckle as a lever in order to pull the crown out with as little force as possible. You can feel a little “click”! Now you can set the time by turning it anti-clockwise . This would turn the minute-hour hands forward until you set the right time. When time is set, push the button back and screw the crown clockwise for a few rounds to ensure it is screwed back tight.

Q4.HOW DO I SET THE DATE?

A4. To change date and time you need to do the following. If you have a screw-in crown like a Rolex, you need to turn the crown anti-clockwise for a few rounds until the crown is loose. Then you need to pull the crown out softly by using your thumb’s nail and first finger’s nail. Please do this softly to avoid breaking the stem. You should feel a “click” here. There are two steps when you pull the crown out. The first step is for setting the date (and Day if you have a Rolex Day-Date). The second step is for setting the local time (see Q2 and A2 for details). You can only set Date forward by turning the crown in one direction. When you are done with setting date and time, push back the crown and wind it clockwise for a few times to lock it.

Q5. WHY MY CHRONOGRAPH SECOND HAND IS NOT MOVING AFTER I WOUND IT?

A5.Chronograph watches have 3 buttons on the right side, and always have a stop watch function. When you do not use it, the big second hand normally stat at 12 o’clock not move. If you would like to make the big second hand run, please push the button at 2 o’clock, the second hand will start to run.

Q6. I HAVE A ROLEX DAYTONA WITH VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT WITH FUNCTIONAL CHRONOS, HOW DO I USE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION?

A6. The Daytona has chronograph buttons, which has a protective-screw lock for protection. This is a unique feature for Rolex Daytona. When you need to push the button, you need to un-wind the protective-screw to the level of the inside button, then you can push the button and press the button. Be sure to push it all the way and fully release it when pushing. Pushing halfway may cause it to stop half way and cause mechanical problems.

Q7. HOW DO I ADJUST THE WATCH BAND SIZE

A7. There are 2 kinds of watchbands. One with screw links. Another kind with pins.

For the pin links, you need to use pin remover to push the pin out.

Q8.MY WATCH BAND HAS A STRIPPED LINK AND CAN NOT HOLD THE SCREW?

A8. We have a trick for you that you can make the screw hold good in the hole. Please take the screw out and put some finger nail polisher on it, then screw it in. The screw will be hold when dry. You can also take it off later if you need. Better than glue.

Q9. My Rolex watch clasp is loose, How to make it tight. ?

A9. slightly bend inwards the sides of the flipping part so that it holds on tight after locking.  Bend it in to make it tight. Bend it out to make it loose.

Q10. HOW DO I USE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION ON VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT TO AVOID DAMAGE TO IT?

A10. To avoid damaging the delicate mechanisms of the Valjoux 7750b1 movement you need to follow the instructions listed below to take care of it:

If your Valjoux 7750b1 has DATE function, DO NOT ADJUST the date when your time is between 10:00 to 3:00. It will damage the internal gears unknowingly if you do that. The BEST WAY is to manually adjust the time to 6:00 and then adjust the DATE after that.

If you are using the chronograph functions of the Valjoux 7750b1, always make sure that to start the stopwatch, you depress the pusher button on top and also to STOP the stopwatch, depress the same pusher button.

Q11. IMPORTANT HERE!!! Should I leave the stopwatch running or ?

NOT RECOMMEND! bad for the movt, increased wear. Why expose your watch to unnecessary, excessive wear? Also, the PR (power reserve) WILL drop by having the chronograph running all the time

REMEMBER: START & STOP is TOP Pusher Button

ONLY after you STOP the stopwatch, then you depress the lower pusher button to RESET the stopwatch function. DO NOT DEPRESS the lower pusher button when the stopwatch function is running. ONLY Depress the lower pusher button after you STOP the chronograph.

Q12, My stop watch won’t reset to 12 o’clock. How to fix that?

For the stop watch function, you can adjust it easy by yourself. Pull out the stem to the position that you can set the time, then push the button at 2 o’clock position, the second will move step by step. Push the button until the second hand stop at 12 o’clock. then push the stem in. This is how you can adjust the second hand to reset to 12. Easy adjustable.

Some additional 7750 Valjoux Movement Information

*Please read them before u play with your watch that has above movement

Q13,  How do you set date on 7750 or any movement with date chrono/ automatic?

Do not activate the chrono until you have done all these steps as mentioned

When you receive your piece, please remember to handwind the piece for about maybe 50 rounds, so to generate enough power reserve. Then you shake the piece like a “mad cow” for 3-4 minutes to generate more power reserve (If necessary)

Then pull the crown out to adjust the hour hand manually to determine when is am/pm. See the date change – then you will know when is am/ pm. Make sure you know when is am/ pm before you proceed

Make sure you do not adjust the date between 10pm-3am ever!!! Do not ask me why because it just works this way. if you adjust between 10pm-3am, the date will jam or go half way.

After u have confirmed the am/ pm…..u can adjust the crown to get to the desired date you want.

As for the timer hand to reset back to zero, it is pure luck….u may have perfect reset, or less than perfect reset. My Genuine Rolex Daytona did not reset back to zero after 3 months. By the way, make sure everytime you activate chrono, you have enough power reserve. Have fun!!!
